Our reading from Mark 4 reminded us that even when the storm rages, Christ is in the boat with us. The apostles cried out in fear, believing Jesus did not care that they were perishing, but the Lord responded with power and peace. He is not absent in our trials.
We discussed how turning to Christ in life’s storms brings real peace, not because the wind stops immediately, but because He calms our hearts. Faith means trusting that God is Lord even when the waves still crash around us.
